Rıza Vuralhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Georg Glad made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Antti Ani tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antti Ani in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Lundqvist saved Golden Lions FC from getting behind. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 10th minute of play. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rıza Vuralhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Golden Lions FC's Joakim Haegg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rıza Vuralhan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıza Vuralhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Argyris Papapetrou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the game Igor Dzierwa made a throw-in which Cosme Larpe played forward. Argyris Papapetrou took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Lundqvist. Anders Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rıza Vuralhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Nyström in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Mats Nyström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Argyris Papapetrou might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Lundqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Argyris Papapetrou ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist got control of the ball when Argyris Papapetrou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Termander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 42nd minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 44th minute of play. Georg Termander's late challenge caught a Strömsbro IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Termander helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Georg Termander got a free kick in the 45th minute. Georg Termander hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Nyström to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Durazno in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıza Vuralhan saved Strömsbro IF from getting behind. Loco Durazno in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rıza Vuralhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Bambas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Igor Bambas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Bambas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burç Tokhan got free with Rıza Vuralhan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Lions FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
