After a rather tough play, Vykans Vikingar's Fernan Berart got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 6th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Indalecio came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Hílton Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıza Vuralhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Souza in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rıza Vuralhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Igor Bambas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıza Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Ekrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Papapetrou in the 32nd minute. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Argyris Papapetrou sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Argyris Papapetrou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Argyris Papapetrou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Hílton Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vykans Vikingar's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rıza Vuralhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Argyris Papapetrou sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Bambas made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbro IF's zone, Mats Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıza Vuralhan came out of the goal and Mats Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Mutumba to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Vykans Vikingar defense, Argyris Papapetrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Ekrot. The Vykans Vikingar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Ekrot should have stopped the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Leonardo Trancoso. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. In the 79th minute of the match, Hílton Souza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rıza Vuralhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 84th minute Argyris Papapetrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Igor Bambas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Vykans Vikingar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
