The corner led Strömsbro IF's Georg Glad to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great ball. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mao Jun Yun, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Strömsbro IF's Georg Glad quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arcadio Ramiréz, made in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Argyris Papapetrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strömsbro IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arcadio Ramiréz made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Belo Alvarez. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Argyris Papapetrou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Argyris Papapetrou's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Bacete in the 84th minute of play. Argyris Papapetrou in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maurino Serena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 95 minutes into the game, Georg Glad threw the ball into play from the sideline.
