Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Carabata Groove from getting a goal against them. When Orxata I Fartons's Henry Roos in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carabata Groove's goalie prevented a goal. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janich Sodborg having to make a save. Carabata Groove's Gunnar Björklund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lesardo Santos, made in the 35th minute of the game. In the 39thth minute of the game Henry Roos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Henry Roos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orxata I Fartons's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Roos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Goito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Roos scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristobal Goito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carabata Groove's Andreas Möller was substituted for Herbert Pilipiec. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Eguntsenti in the 57th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Roos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Roos in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg got control of the ball when David Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Orxata I Fartons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Eguntsenti to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Gunnar Björklund in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Orxata I Fartons's Everardo Eguntsenti. Janich Sodborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Elazar in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Orxata I Fartons's Henry Roos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Goito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orxata I Fartons's Zarando Manrique was substituted for Henry Roos. Orxata I Fartons made a substitution. Donatello Estrada replaced Everardo Eguntsenti. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Orxata I Fartons from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Manrique in the 80th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Orxata I Fartons from getting a goal against them. Orxata I Fartons's Janich Sodborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rios in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Orxata I Fartons's Romeo Pio got a free kick in the 90th minute. Janich Sodborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Elazar in the 91st minute of play. Zarando Manrique's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Goito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The corner led Orxata I Fartons's René Alabern to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristobal Goito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mauro Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Janich Sodborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 100th match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Santos to maneuver through the defense.

Carabata Groove's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
