Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joseph Spurgeon made the kick off which started today's match. Ken Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winifred Alleyne in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Jordan getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hugh Pope hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Spurgeon in the 9th minute of play forced Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Sanjiv Yorke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Joseph Spurgeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sanjiv Yorke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralph Doom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Doom was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ralph Doom made a precise shot to the right of Ken Warner. Jordan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to Jordan getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Damion Croft hit a great ball. Scott Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the game, Dominic Ramjohn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ken Warner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ken Warner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Doom in the 68th minute of play. Ken Warner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominic Ramjohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 90 minutes of play, Trinidad & Tobago's Ralph Doom made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ken Warner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the game, Winifred Alleyne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ken Warner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jordan made a substitution. Patrick Mann replaced Christopher Lofthouse. In the 98th minute Scott Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Warner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Trinidad & Tobago players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
