Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgard Baldovino took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Menchu FC's Roberto Lohitzun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vigil Blanquel. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Edgard Baldovino's late challenge caught a ...Pingue S.C....'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Baldovino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Edgard Baldovino got a free kick in the 7th minute. Xizavier Monterinos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. ...Pingue S.C....'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lucio Ourente ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dalmacio Pacorro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Roberto Lohitzun's late challenge caught a ...Pingue S.C....'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Lohitzun helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lohitzun. Roberto Lohitzun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vigil Blanquel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Alvaro Sarratea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Oces in the 28th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Mincho to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Robin Oces's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Comizzo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. 44 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goalkeeper Vigil Blanquel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Baldovino. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xizavier Monterinos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ...Pingue S.C.... getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Elkin Corel hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Lucio Ourente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vigil Blanquel skillfully saved the ball. In the 58th minute, José-Luis Falcon had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. During the 58th minute of the match Jeremias Mincho completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeremias Mincho a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Robin Oces could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Angel Comizzo made a huge save. 67 minutes into the game, Elkin Corel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ...Pingue S.C....'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menchu FC the free kick. In the 67th minute, Elkin Corel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes ...Pingue S.C.... got a freekick which was hit by Elkin Corel. Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xizavier Monterinos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute ...Pingue S.C.... were awarded a corner. Robin Oces went to the cornerflag to take it. Vigil Blanquel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Etxeberri in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes, ...Pingue S.C....'s Robin Oces shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Comizzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ...Pingue S.C.... reached it. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri got a free kick in the 85th minute. Angel Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Robin Oces sent off a good shot on target. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xizavier Monterinos in the 94th minute of play.
The Menchu FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
