The FC Fura Balizas fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when FC Fura Balizas's Eugeniusz Sanocki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of FC Fura Balizas booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarbonin Riesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 54 minutes, Lewis Tearle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fura Balizas and the ALIANZA 1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lewis Tearle hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. FC Fura Balizas's Eugeniusz Sanocki got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Cabral to maneuver through the defense. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. José Maria Freire replaced Cassiano Peralta. FC Fura Balizas's Maurício Mansilha was substituted for Eugeniusz Sanocki. FC Fura Balizas's Alex Belém was substituted for Cândido Cabral. Cândido Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Nicasio Rivadeneira got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of ALIANZA 1901:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Fura Balizas:s goal. Ruy Berger had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Belém's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 94 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Belém came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Maurício Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Fura Balizas's zone, Alfredo Tomasini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Long Gang Sen came out of the goal and Alfredo Tomasini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Fura Balizas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
