Lazaros Kabantais made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Cheng Chao sent off a good shot on target. When Cornelio Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Materos FC's protests and gave Cornelio Quilo a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Los Materos FC's zone, Cheng Chao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaros Kabantais came out of the goal and Cheng Chao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Cheng Chao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lazaros Kabantais, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oier Lopez de Toro in the 37th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cheng Chao came free, but Lazaros Kabantais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turbo Koksy's Patryk Ranc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tincho Palermo in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tincho Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tincho Palermo got free with Patryk Ranc in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Crespin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Patryk Ranc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tincho Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turbo Koksy's Olgierd Fronczak was substituted for Cheng Chao. Los Materos FC made a substitution. Haydar Genişyürek replaced Tincho Palermo. Turbo Koksy made a substitution. Barney Kohler replaced Jonathan Månsson. Turbo Koksy made a substitution. Cristián Pavon replaced Teo Škarpa. The supporters of Los Materos FC booed when Turbo Koksy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Kohler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute Cristián Pavon easily got through Los Materos FC's defense and fired away a shot, but Lazaros Kabantais leaped left and performed a fabulous save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Larpe in the 78th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Eleuterio Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Ranc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Turbo Koksy got a freekick which was hit by Barney Kohler. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
