The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Souza came free, but Tiago Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of U21 Brazil booed when IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sultan De Inierry didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Souza in the 10th minute of play forced IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper Tiago Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tiago Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte de Castro in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Guilherme Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Jacinto. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Souza came free, but Tiago Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Gol. Thiago Motta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Jacinto. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jano Moreira hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. U21 Brazil's João Pedro Arce managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teodoro da Cunha in the 31 minute of the game. Teodoro da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Tiago Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Souza in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago Jacinto saved IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. from getting behind. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. were furious when Cristóvão Mendonça was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Tróia to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Guilherme Souza took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Tiago Jacinto to make any attempt to save it. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Manuel Tande was substituted for Luizão Prata. U21 Brazil's Elói Alcântara was substituted for Guilherme Souza. A sloppy throw-in by Oswaldo Neiva in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Brazil's João Pedro Arce. U21 Brazil's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Tróia in the 67th minute of play. Tiago Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Elói Alcântara notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Tiago Jacinto. Tiago Jacinto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kléberson Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Tiago Jacinto made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elói Alcântara in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Di Berardino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Di Berardino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Brazil's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
