The supporters of 17 de enero team booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jokin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Marno F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victoriano Iratzeder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Marno F.C. from getting a goal against them. Zoran Simović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Cefero in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Marno F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Cefero to maneuver through the defense. The 17 de enero team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marno F.C. were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Iratzeder to make the kick off. Zoran Simović made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gabriel Mónos sent off a good shot on target. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gamus in the 53rd minute of play. Aldo Beltxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victoriano Iratzeder's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Joel Gamus scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Beltxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Iratzeder in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Beltxe saved Marno F.C. from getting behind. In the 68th minute Joel Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Isidor in the 69th minute of play forced Marno F.C.'s goalkeeper Aldo Beltxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marno F.C.'s Doni Guedes was substituted for Igor Jokin. After 73 minutes Marno F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Den Barraclough who took care of the corner kick. After 76 minutes, Norberto Mónos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marno F.C. and the 17 de enero team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lech Mleczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zoran Simović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Joel Gamus made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 90 played minutes Marno F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Valiente. 92 minutes into the match, Zeledon Valiente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zoran Simović, 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marno F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
