Walmir Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gamus in the 27th minute of play. Joel Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmir Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Keke Almeida made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Loco De Remate's Amado Nisio. After 43 played minutes Rene Aires rounded 17 de enero team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, 17 de enero team's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Zoran Simović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Iratzeder made a kick off. Loco De Remate's attentive Amado Nisio managed to snatch the ball when Keke Almeida made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Zoran Simović came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Loco De Remate's Rene Aires. But to his dismay, Rene Aires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Loco De Remate's Hıdır Namal was substituted for Feliciano Iratxo. Walmir Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walmir Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Frans in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Hıdır Namal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zoran Simović was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
