Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Enmanuel took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Victorio Modestio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Lechuguitas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Modestio couldn't finish the play. Cesare Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Paulo Enmanuel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lechuguitas F.C.'s Cesare Cardillo. Cesare Cardillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Modestio. Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Arnulfo Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnulfo Tercero hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Bartuelo in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesare Cardillo saved Lechuguitas F.C. from getting behind. Formentera's Seyhan Atlıhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Pueblo in the 32nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Lechuguitas F.C.'s corner Arnulfo Tercero fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Seyhan Atlıhan quite easily take care of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Seyhan Atlıhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Dimas. Ariel Libertad hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Tercero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Seyhan Atlıhan made a huge save. Cesare Cardillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Enmanuel came free, but Cesare Cardillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Modestio made a kick off. If Juan Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Modestio in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyhan Atlıhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Formentera booed when Lechuguitas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lechuguitas F.C. made a substitution. Florentino Nabar replaced Victorio Modestio. Arnulfo Tercero hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Tercero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s Juan Pueblo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyhan Atlıhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Hélio Nascimento was substituted for Juan Pueblo. After 76 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ignatius. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Arnulfo Tercero got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnulfo Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Seyhan Atlıhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Formentera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
