In the 17th minute, Ingvar Dahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Armstrong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Patrick Armstrong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Dahlberg in the 22nd minute of the match. When Marcus Majewski fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ManagerZone Crew's protests and gave Marcus Majewski a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Rinkeby FC's Corderun Geras got control of the ball when Thorbjörn Olerius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Linkhorst charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Linkhorst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Peter Linkhorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Peter Linkhorst dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corderun Geras, 2-2. In the 40th minute, Ingvar Dahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rinkeby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 47 minutes into the match, Ingvar Dahlberg notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Rinkeby FC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The corner ended in Patrik Alkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong did a great save. Ingvar Dahlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Armstrong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The ManagerZone Crew manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rinkeby FC to win.
