The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Wennerqvist in the 3rd minute of play. Dennis Koopmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lennart Hagberg went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Isidoro Figueiras made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Hoogenkamp in the 8th minute. Dennis Koopmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Wennerqvist in the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Fluffe BK booed when Maersk Kampala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogier Rodenboog didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Maersk Kampala's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wennerqvist came free, but Dennis Koopmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Maersk Kampala's Isidoro Figueiras threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joep Werner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Skog in the 17th minute of play. Dennis Koopmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Wennerqvist in the 18th minute of the match. Joel Wennerqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joep Werner in the 22nd minute of play forced Fluffe BK's goalkeeper Isidoro Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kurt Bohlin came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fluffe BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Bohlin couldn't finish the play. The Fluffe BK fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Fluffe BK's Joel Wennerqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Maersk Kampala defense, Lennart Hagberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Koopmans. The Maersk Kampala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Koopmans should have stopped the shot. Claes Mattsson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Koopmans. Dennis Koopmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 34th minute Kurt Bohlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Koopmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Mattsson in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Claes Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Koopmans. Maersk Kampala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Albert Cane's late challenge caught a Maersk Kampala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Cane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Fluffe BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Cane to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Wennerqvist came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Fluffe BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Wennerqvist couldn't finish the play.

Maersk Kampala's Dennis Koopmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Maersk Kampala from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd match minute, Maersk Kampala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Dam to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Koopmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klas Skog's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dennis Koopmans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Felix Hoogenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Figueiras having to interfere. Dennis Koopmans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Maersk Kampala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Wennerqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Fluffe BK played a much better game than Maersk Kampala and deserved their victory. The Maersk Kampala players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
