But to his dismay, Danial Waddell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Los Angeles Premier FC booed when 芜湖同文中学 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. 邱飞斌 didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Angeles Premier FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jesus Riker hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Tom Epperson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, 张然榕 took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Tom Epperson to make any attempt to save it. 邱飞斌's late challenge caught a Los Angeles Premier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 邱飞斌 helped the player get up and apologised. 邱飞斌 hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Danial Waddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 许风阳 having to interfere. In the 29th minute 张然榕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Epperson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, 芜湖同文中学's 姚翀霆 got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Domenico Keane came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Los Angeles Premier FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Keane couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Jamal Ciccaglione put in a rough tackle. Will Theilacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Angeles Premier FC's Domenico Keane got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Will Theilacker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 张然榕 in the 53rd minute of play forced Los Angeles Premier FC's goalkeeper Tom Epperson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 邱飞斌 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 54th minute, 邱飞斌 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Keane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute of the match, Jed Byrd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 许风阳 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jed Byrd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 芜湖同文中学's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Will Theilacker 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. 许风阳 was a little too slow when Will Theilacker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when 雷冰响 came free, but Tom Epperson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in 芜湖同文中学's zone, Salvatore Aviles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许风阳 came out of the goal and Salvatore Aviles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Will Theilacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvatore Aviles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. 许风阳 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 余悦剑 fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 芜湖同文中学's protests and gave 余悦剑 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Los Angeles Premier FC. Giovanni Cody stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 许风阳. 2-4. Will Theilacker kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, 余延兴 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 芜湖同文中学's supporters rose to their feet, but 余延兴 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Epperson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Los Angeles Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Keane. 姚翀霆 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If 雷冰响 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, 芜湖同文中学's 雷冰响 got a free kick in the 98th minute. Los Angeles Premier FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
