Oberdurwittgen's Özcan Schwochow got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Oberdurwittgen's goal looked a bit too open when Will Theilacker came free, but Herbert Obermeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danial Waddell got free with Herbert Obermeier in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tom Epperson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedl Plischke in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Oberdurwittgen's Friedl Plischke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Epperson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tom Epperson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Czerwinsky in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Özcan Schwochow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Epperson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Friedl Plischke charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Friedl Plischke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Friedl Plischke kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jed Byrd in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Obermeier saved Oberdurwittgen from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Danial Waddell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Obermeier. Oberdurwittgen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danial Waddell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vicente Hewitt scored 2-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Obermeier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Oberdurwittgen getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Patrick Czerwinsky hit a great ball. Tom Epperson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özcan Schwochow in the 39th minute of play. Oberdurwittgen were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Los Angeles Premier FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauritz Sorge took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mauritz Sorge got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tom Epperson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 42nd minute Reinhold Kapzan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Epperson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Obermeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Theilacker in the 44th minute of play. Danial Waddell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Özcan Schwochow made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Özcan Schwochow came free, but Tom Epperson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oberdurwittgen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauritz Sorge in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Mauritz Sorge almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson did a great save. Özcan Schwochow received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tom Epperson came out and tried to block the shot, but Özcan Schwochow slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 60th minute. When Reiner Kramer fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oberdurwittgen's protests and gave Reiner Kramer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oberdurwittgen's Reiner Kramer got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danial Waddell in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Obermeier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson got control of the ball when Friedl Plischke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute Will Theilacker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Obermeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Will Theilacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Angeles Premier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Theilacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Obermeier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Los Angeles Premier FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Troy Carlisle hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Friedl Plischke made a precise shot to the right of Tom Epperson. Los Angeles Premier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Vicente Hewitt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Friedl Plischke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tom Epperson, 2-4. Herbert Obermeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Hewitt in the 86th minute of play. Tom Epperson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Czerwinsky in the 95th minute of play. Oberdurwittgen's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
