Rogier Eefting started the match with the kick off. Orhan Vezir hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Sedat Korcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogier Eefting in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Rogier Eefting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maersk Kampala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogier Eefting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seyrani Yezid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dennis Koopmans made a huge save. Menno Veltman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Maersk Kampala's Dennis Koopmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Maersk Kampala from getting a goal against them. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyip Onurad in the 27th minute of play. goviza's Sedat Korcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogier Eefting in the 30th minute of play. Dennis Koopmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyip Onurad, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Maersk Kampala defense, Seyrani Yezid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Koopmans. The Maersk Kampala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Koopmans should have stopped the shot. Sedat Korcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hendrik Scholten in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as goviza's Kubilay Özgulec slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dennis Koopmans. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Seyrani Yezid made the kick off in the second half. Orhan Vezir's late challenge caught a Maersk Kampala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orhan Vezir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Seyrani Yezid made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Koopmans. Maersk Kampala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. If Kubilay Özgulec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Şahdar in the 63rd minute of play. Dennis Koopmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyrani Yezid in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyrani Yezid in the 72nd minute of play forced Maersk Kampala's goalkeeper Dennis Koopmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Kubilay Özgulec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Seyrani Yezid came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the goviza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyrani Yezid couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joep Werner got free with Sedat Korcan in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
