Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Angeles Premier FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Wesley Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position Tom Epperson, making the score, 3-0. Hélder Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Waddell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Dieguinho Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tom Epperson made a huge save. Hélder Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Theilacker in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Los Angeles Premier FC's Danial Waddell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélder Faria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 34th minute, Danial Waddell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Faria was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Will Theilacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Angeles Premier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Will Theilacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the game, Luiz Fábio Munhoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Los Angeles Premier FC's Salvatore Aviles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 51 minutes into the game, Wesley Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Tom Epperson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Carvalho in the 55th minute of play forced Los Angeles Premier FC's goalkeeper Tom Epperson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amauri Machado struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tom Epperson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FLAMENGO. Rony Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tom Epperson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Epperson came out of the goal and Rony Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Netto in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Angeles Premier FC's goalkeeper Tom Epperson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The tension between the Los Angeles Premier FC and the FLAMENGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Angeles Premier FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles Premier FC's Danial Waddell got a free kick in the 80th minute. The FLAMENGO fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when FLAMENGO's Amauri Machado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84thth minute of the game Rony Netto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Angeles Premier FC's Tom Epperson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Machado in the 86th minute of play. Wesley Carvalho scored 7-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Epperson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, FLAMENGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Paraibano to maneuver through the defense.
