Aytunç Özmut charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aytunç Özmut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aydinlikevler's Aytunç Özmut got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Reşit Akın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giray İhtişam having to make a save. Giray İhtişam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyhan Eroğuz in the 8th minute. Ataol Sarıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barlas Balaban, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Barlas Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedri Şehzat kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arman Kıvılcım during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arman Kıvılcım hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. A collision led to Aydinlikevler getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Şinasi Resai hit a great ball. Seyhan Eroğuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Giray İhtişam made a huge save. Ataol Sarıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Dinç in the 22nd minute of the match. Ataol Sarıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Dinç, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Barlas Balaban took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ataol Sarıoğlu. Ataol Sarıoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gülsehir's Reşit Akın got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ataol Sarıoğlu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Aydinlikevler's Barlas Balaban. But to his dismay, Barlas Balaban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Barlas Balaban notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gülsehir's Ataol Sarıoğlu. Ataol Sarıoğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ataol Sarıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barlas Balaban in the 45th minute of play. When Oğuzcan Erincer fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülsehir's protests and gave Oğuzcan Erincer a yellow card for diving instead. Emir Dinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Sarıoğlu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Reşit Akın made the kick off in the second half. Gülsehir's Reşit Akın got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seyhan Eroğuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray İhtişam having to interfere. Şinasi Resai hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Seyhan Eroğuz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mustafa Necati Mehdi fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gülsehir's protests and gave Mustafa Necati Mehdi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aydinlikevler booed when Gülsehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Necati Mehdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seyhan Eroğuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Gülsehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzcan Erincer to maneuver through the defense. Barlas Balaban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ataol Sarıoğlu made a huge save. Seyhan Eroğuz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giray İhtişam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyhan Eroğuz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ataol Sarıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emir Dinç, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Seyhan Eroğuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giray İhtişam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Seyhan Eroğuz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gülsehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyhan Eroğuz couldn't finish the play. The Aydinlikevler supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aydinlikevler would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
