Herbert Obermeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Korgun JK got a freekick which was hit by Yılmaz Açar. In the 13th minute of the match Resulhan Tenzil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herbert Obermeier skillfully saved the ball. Özcan Schwochow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Zikri having to interfere. Şinasi Hıfzullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herbert Obermeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Oberdurwittgen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Patrick Czerwinsky hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Fazlı Beşer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korgun JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fazlı Beşer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Oberdurwittgen's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Hıfzullah came free, but Herbert Obermeier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Korgun JK's goalkeeper Reşat Zikri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedl Plischke. In the 29th minute, Özcan Schwochow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oberdurwittgen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Friedl Plischke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Zikri having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Ali Kağan Sacid mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Korgun JK and the Oberdurwittgen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fazlı Beşer took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Obermeier. Herbert Obermeier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Özcan Schwochow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Zikri having to interfere. Şinasi Hıfzullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Herbert Obermeier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özcan Schwochow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Friedl Plischke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Zikri having to interfere. Şinasi Hıfzullah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Obermeier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Oberdurwittgen defense, Şinasi Hıfzullah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Obermeier. The Oberdurwittgen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Obermeier should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Herbert Obermeier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Patrick Czerwinsky kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Fazlı Beşer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Herbert Obermeier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Friedl Plischke had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Ahmet Ziya Faydalı's late challenge caught a Oberdurwittgen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ziya Faydalı helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Korgun JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ziya Faydalı. Özcan Schwochow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Reşat Zikri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reşat Zikri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özcan Schwochow went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Herbert Obermeier made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Şinasi Hıfzullah sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Patrick Czerwinsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reşat Zikri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Korgun JK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oberdurwittgen.
