The referee ignored Oberdurwittgen's protests and gave Patrick Czerwinsky a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gülsehir booed when Oberdurwittgen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Czerwinsky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Friedl Plischke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Sarıoğlu having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Oberdurwittgen's Friedl Plischke nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ataol Sarıoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Oğuzcan Erincer hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ataol Sarıoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Oberdurwittgen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
