In the 2nd minute, Danilo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavio Gaspard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giray İhtişam. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Melchor Tebaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melchor Tebaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melchor Tebaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes RIVER PLATE got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Tebaldo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Mateus got free with Giray İhtişam in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giray İhtişam stood somewhat misplaced when Saul Mateus came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Flavio Gaspard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Giray İhtişam 23 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Aytunç Özmut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Silviano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Hitz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The supporters of Aydinlikevler booed when RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Gaspard made a kick off. Aydinlikevler's Giray İhtişam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Gaspard in the 56th minute of play. Domingos Fortun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the game, Saul Mateus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER PLATE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aydinlikevler the free kick. Saul Mateus hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Giray İhtişam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gaspard in the 81st minute of the match. Giray İhtişam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Fortun's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Flavio Gaspard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Gaspard took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giray İhtişam. Giray İhtişam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Aytunç Özmut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Silviano having to interfere. RIVER PLATE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
