Dennis Koopmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tayyip Onurad went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dennis Koopmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyrani Yezid in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Felix Hoogenkamp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maersk Kampala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Hoogenkamp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joep Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When goviza's Seyrani Yezid in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maersk Kampala's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45thth minute of the game Seyrani Yezid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maersk Kampala's Dennis Koopmans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The supporters of goviza booed when Maersk Kampala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menno Veltman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Musa Şahdar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Koopmans having to interfere. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, goviza's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Hoogenkamp came free, but Sedat Korcan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Cumhur Umurbey hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Scheepstra in the 88th minute of play forced goviza's goalkeeper Sedat Korcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the goviza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maersk Kampala.
