Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredric Melander started the match with the kick off. Bennvar Post received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jo Øverås came out and tried to block the shot, but Bennvar Post slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Jo Øverås came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by National Team Cape-Verde's Bennvar Post. But to his dismay, Bennvar Post quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Daustad made a substitution. Kevin Bernini replaced Alberigo Mancini. Fredric Melander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Øverås read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Bernini in the 21st minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Ashraf Hakimi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Bennvar Post. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Bernini in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daustad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peng Song Ting in the 34th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Are Rygg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 37 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Daustad's Jo Øverås got control of the ball when Fredric Melander tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 44th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Pål Sefastsson made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Kevin Bernini sent off a good shot on target. It was a well-played corner which Luis Bonet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 56th minute of the match, Luis Bonet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Sefastsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Post, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bennvar Post managed to get in a good position for a shot. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennvar Post was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Øverås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. National Team Cape-Verde's Klas Bergqvist was substituted for Fredric Melander. Luis Bonet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Pål Sefastsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 70th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Are Rygg to maneuver through the defense. Luis Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peng Song Ting took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pål Sefastsson. National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Luis Bonet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Sefastsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 87th minute Kevin Bernini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Örnberg. If Carlos Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Are Rygg got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jo Øverås came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Tevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. National Team Cape-Verde had won after a very even match.
