In the 4th minute Fernando Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Gozdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 7th minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Stasio Gozdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpia HSB were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after KANONIERZY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Morientes took the corner. Stasio Gozdowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 17th minute of the match. Olimpia HSB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Morientes in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Fernando Morientes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KANONIERZY's Stasio Gozdowski did a great save. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Julian Zgonina got a free kick in the 19th minute. Stasio Gozdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszek Ferfecki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Czeszejko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stasio Gozdowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Fabian Czeszejko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasio Gozdowski having to interfere. Stasio Gozdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Czeszejko came free, but Stasio Gozdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Czeszejko was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikola Mirotić got free with Stasio Gozdowski in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodney Lindov came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Olimpia HSB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodney Lindov couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Dunajski in the 69th minute of play. Nikola Mirotić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Jacek Pietrowiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.
