The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Walczak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artur Sarnat. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 11th minute of play forced FC GIDLE's goalkeeper Artur Sarnat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikola Mirotić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Artur Sarnat made a huge save. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ezequiel Abecia hit a great ball. Artur Sarnat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. FC GIDLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Olimpia HSB were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC GIDLE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Morientes took the corner. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoslaw Kocieniewski in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christer Belzner was the one to do the kick off. A.J. 张飞 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tolek Kiszkiel made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Mirotić came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Czeszejko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC GIDLE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Belzner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC GIDLE's Tomasz Skikiewicz was substituted for Christer Belzner. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Olimpia HSB from getting a goal against them. Artur Sarnat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Maxim in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC GIDLE's Antoni Lampe got a free kick in the 75th minute. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Jacek Pietrowiak replaced Fabian Czeszejko. Olimpia HSB's Tomáš Petrásek was substituted for Sixto Yanguas. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when FC GIDLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Lampe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Sarnat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Sarnat came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Jacek Pietrowiak. But to his dismay, Jacek Pietrowiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Tolek Kiszkiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomasz Skikiewicz in the 85th minute. Artur Sarnat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, FC GIDLE's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Pietrowiak came free, but Artur Sarnat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Sarnat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacek Pietrowiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, FC GIDLE's Tomasz Skikiewicz made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolek Kiszkiel was left in no man's land by his defense there!
