The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Christian Abbiati in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 35th minute of play. The KANONIERZY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Christian Abbiati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Hamza Hanefi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Fleischer. Luís Caeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Abbiati having to make a save. After having played for 73 minutes, Ignacy Dunajski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KANONIERZY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacy Dunajski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacy Dunajski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacy Dunajski scored 1-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shao Kun Yuan in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the KANONIERZY defense, Gervásio Severiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Abbiati. The KANONIERZY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Abbiati should have stopped the shot. When Damazy Fleischer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the KANONIERZY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Fleischer couldn't finish the play. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KANONIERZY eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
