The Hell of Urfa
Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30,
Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Türk Polis Gücü's Şimşek Saraçoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Türk Polis Gücü from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Palestine booed when Türk Polis Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaser Torel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palestine's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tahsin Savtuna in the 9th minute. Mustafa Birol Nuratay thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Şimşek Saraçoğlu, a very annoying self made goal in the 9th minute which led to 1-0. Ömer Rıza Özbek made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boğaçhan Keskinel. Şimşek Saraçoğlu was a little too slow when Enis Behiç Cangun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Palestine's Enis Behiç Cangun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şimşek Saraçoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Berker Rıza Baykam fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Türk Polis Gücü's protests and gave Berker Rıza Baykam a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Türk Polis Gücü's Berker Rıza Baykam got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Cemil Erkılınç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şimşek Saraçoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enis Behiç Cangun in the 32nd minute. Şimşek Saraçoğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enis Behiç Cangun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yağızhan Dündaroğlu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Calatayud saved Palestine from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Enis Behiç Cangun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Şimşek Saraçoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jon Calatayud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Beykan in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yağızhan Dündaroğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Arif Çelebi Çalımbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızhan Dündaroğlu in the 59th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Ömer Rıza Özbek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Türk Polis Gücü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestine the free kick. The audience was convinced that Boğaçhan Keskinel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Calatayud was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yağızhan Dündaroğlu got free with Jon Calatayud in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes of play, Palestine's Enis Behiç Cangun made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şimşek Saraçoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Palestine's Yasin Türünk was substituted for Roman Rothenberger. Jon Calatayud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Beykan in the 79th minute of the match. The referee showed Boğaçhan Keskinel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
