With an all-out effort, U21 Poland's Kajetan Parzysz threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zbyszko Mazierz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Kajetan Parzysz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Wasikowski in the 80th minute of the match. Wit Bronkala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Figueiras in the 84th minute. Zachary Zerde's late challenge caught a S04 Silesia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Zerde helped the player get up and apologised. S04 Silesia's Benedykt Makarewicz was substituted for Tomasz Bartochowski. Zachary Zerde hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match.
