Leones FC's Alfonso Villamarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Alberto in the 20th minute of play. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Per-Olof Sikström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Messejana SportClub - DMZ from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Per-Olof Sikström got control of the ball when Oriol Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute Oriol Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leones FC made a substitution. García Galego replaced Jeremy Lambarida. When Oriol Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oriol Loyola couldn't finish the play. Leones FC's Frances Muelas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Penha in the 89 minute of the game. Mário Veiga struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alfonso Villamarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messejana SportClub - DMZ. After a rather tough play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Daniel Penha got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Bebeto Santos put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Messejana SportClub - DMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leones FC:s goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Messejana SportClub - DMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leones FC.
