Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Egelioğlu in the 15th minute of play. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abuzer Egelioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Deckberg in the 17th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurens Erensteins short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Altay İzmirli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Ted Borker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Altay İzmirli was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Abuzer Egelioğlu came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ágætis Byrjun's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ted Borker in the 24th minute. Ted Borker made a great header on Ágætis Byrjun's corner, it was just that PursH's Altay İzmirli managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ágætis Byrjun's zone, Naim Mürsel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maraman Reitsma came out of the goal and Naim Mürsel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Altay İzmirli made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ted Borker sent off a good shot on target. Ágætis Byrjun were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after PursH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ted Borker took the corner. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Laurens Erenstein hit a great ball. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Deckberg in the 38th minute of play. Harris Theisens hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Marc Plagge hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Akdamar in the 40th minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enkel Seger in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Borker to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Maraman Reitsma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naim Mürsel. Maraman Reitsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Egelioğlu in the 59th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Jacco Roorda. Jacco Roorda hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mats Deckberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maraman Reitsma was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Altay İzmirli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Borker in the 65th minute of play. Naim Mürsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Maraman Reitsma made a huge save. Ted Borker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, PursH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jannich Helbrandt to maneuver through the defense. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Deckberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Tayyip Demirdelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Mats Deckberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maraman Reitsma was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The PursH fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when PursH's Mats Deckberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Borker in the 88th minute of play forced PursH's goalkeeper Altay İzmirli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by PursH's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ted Borker was slow to take the kick. During this time Ágætis Byrjun's players had a chance to rest. 90 minutes into the game, Nikodemus Vuorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PursH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágætis Byrjun the free kick. Nikodemus Vuorio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Ted Borker came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ágætis Byrjun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Borker couldn't finish the play. Altay İzmirli came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Ted Borker. But to his dismay, Ted Borker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
