In the 10th minute Lucas Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maraman Reitsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maraman Reitsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Feijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Borker in the 14th minute of the match. Segundo Feijo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Laurens Erenstein sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Borker in the 29th minute of play forced ♫♫ OB®E®OS ♫♫'s goalkeeper Segundo Feijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Ágætis Byrjun's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Panfilo came free, but Maraman Reitsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Borker made a kick off. Aristides Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ted Borker hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Maraman Reitsma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harris Theisens during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Panfilo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maraman Reitsma saved Ágætis Byrjun from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Gilesindo got free with Maraman Reitsma in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ágætis Byrjun's Maraman Reitsma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ágætis Byrjun from getting a goal against them. Segundo Feijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Borker in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes ♫♫ OB®E®OS ♫♫'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Gaston Eneko ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, ♫♫ OB®E®OS ♫♫ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
