In the 9th minute Dan Bromley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Przemyslaw Karpinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Šepetavec in the 11th minute of play. Dobromir Cwojdak might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dobromir Cwojdak ran back to his position shaking his head. Przemyslaw Karpinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Oprea in the 19th minute of play. If Dobromir Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Gualterio Jaunti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ionion the free kick. Gualterio Jaunti hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s zone, Dominik Šepetavec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Karpinski came out of the goal and Dominik Šepetavec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Dan Bromley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Abalos, 1-1. Fabio Abalos made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Dobromir Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Oprea in the 37th minute of play forced MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Karpinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Jaraczeski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Igor Jaraczeski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. and the ionion players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.! Grigore Pădure placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Bromley to maneuver through the defense. Przemyslaw Karpinski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Marijan Ojdanić sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Panait Oprea took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Przemyslaw Karpinski to make any attempt to save it. ionion were furious when Paul Grigoroiu was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 played minutes ionion got a freekick which was hit by Paul Grigoroiu. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ştefan Isvoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. ionion's supporters rose to their feet, but Ştefan Isvoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Przemyslaw Karpinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Ding Fabregas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marijan Ojdanić kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ştefan Isvoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Przemyslaw Karpinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ştefan Isvoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Karpinski having to interfere. Marijan Ojdanić's late challenge caught a MARRAK Ostrów Wlkp.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marijan Ojdanić helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ionion getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marijan Ojdanić hit a great ball. Ştefan Isvoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Karpinski having to interfere. ionion's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
