Achille Grimaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Ebardo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Achille Grimaldi made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Bernad during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 50th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bernad to maneuver through the defense.
