Bohuslav Plachetka made in the 5th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Loco Borja immediately put the ball in play. Carlos Alberto Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Aznar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 12th minute Loco Borja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 15th minute of play. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Beliran in the 18th minute of play. Claudio Aznar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Berti, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Loco Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Lucas Engström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joxa mé trasan and the LA MAQUINA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lucas Engström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joxa mé trasan's zone, Loco Borja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Aznar came out of the goal and Loco Borja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's Loco Borja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Aznar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loco Borja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Joxa mé trasan's Fred Flinta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Porfiro. Higinio Porfiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Loco Borja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Borja in the 34th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Aznar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Borja in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Borja in the 43rd minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Turi came free, but Claudio Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Rigoberto Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joxa mé trasan's Claudio Aznar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Higinio Porfiro was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Fred Flinta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Flinta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Loco Borja made the kick off in the second half. If Laureano Beliran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Loco Borja sped through Joxa mé trasan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudio Aznar. LA MAQUINA F.C's Santo Colas was substituted for Bohuslav Plachetka. 57 minutes into the game, Santo Colas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joxa mé trasan's Gabriel Lange quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Joxa mé trasan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Lange didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loco Borja in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Claudio Aznar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loco Borja. Claudio Aznar came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Rigoberto Turi. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. LA MAQUINA F.C's Higinio Romero was substituted for Joel Min. LA MAQUINA F.C's Amadeo Berasko was substituted for Loco Borja. The audience was convinced that Laureano Beliran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Porfiro was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Amadeo Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Fred Flinta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LA MAQUINA F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sérgio Berti in the 75th minute. In the 86th minute Rigoberto Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Aznar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joxa mé trasan's Laureano Beliran got a free kick in the 87th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of LA MAQUINA F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Joxa mé trasan:s goal. Higinio Porfiro had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Ove Löfgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. LA MAQUINA F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
