ADM Taquaras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malcolm Westerberg in the 17th minute. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Afonso da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludomil Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes in the game, Denílson Tepedino dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ludomil Ziomkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mikail Jackson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Liviu Terzian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jeremias Moreno but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 29th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludomil Ziomkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denílson Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Virgiawan Laturua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jeremias Moreno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Denílson Tepedino hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afonso da Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. David Brás hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Soeiro in the 59th minute of play. Cesar Quintos short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Ludomil Ziomkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesar Quinto. But to his dismay, Wlodzimierz Swoboda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 96th minute, Maurinho Mendonça fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 97 played minutes, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Emanuele Bertoni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the ADM Taquaras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ.
