In the 5th minute Marcus Allbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Adhemar Santos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juvenal Zanette, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Pogba got free with Juvenal Zanette in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Marcus Allbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Adhemar Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄昆傲 in the 21st minute of play. Killian Cruzado kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Vygantas Vyšniauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C. Galera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vygantas Vyšniauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Pogba didn't get a good kick on the ball. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Santos in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Doriva Goiano got a free kick in the 40th minute. Juvenal Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Juvenal Zanette came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marcus Allbäck. But to his dismay, Marcus Allbäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Santos to make the kick off. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Killian Cruzado in the 54th minute. Juvenal Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 56th minute of the match. 狄昆傲 might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haji Sarap. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 狄昆傲 ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when 狄昆傲 got free with Haji Sarap in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Allbäck came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joinville City - FSCMZ's João Francisco Arce was substituted for George Pogba. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Geovanildo Luis replaced Adhemar Santos. 72 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Arce came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Ulbak to maneuver through the defense. 狄昆傲 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. If 狄昆傲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄昆傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Bernardino Llorenc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Llorenc in the 93rd minute of play. Bernardino Llorenc took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Zanette. Juvenal Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Joinville City - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
