Facopo FBPA's Dalmo Motta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Well-Well Junior in the 18 minute of the game. 22 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Zhivko Húntev came free, but Ludomil Ziomkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhivko Húntev in the 27th minute of play. Well-Well Junior made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emanuele Bertoni immediately put the ball in play. Zhivko Húntev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludomil Ziomkowski having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso da Cunha. Osvaldinho Moreno made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Afonso da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. After 45 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Domingues. With a little luck, Facopo FBPA's Osvaldinho Moreno got control of the ball when Xande Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso da Cunha to make the kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cheng Ling Yang was slow to take the kick. During this time Facopo FBPA's players had a chance to rest. Cheng Ling Yang made a great header on Facopo FBPA's corner, it was just that CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhou Wei Fan in the 95th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
