Andy Cole started the match with the kick off. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 狄昆傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Milen Kúlvachev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Juvenal Zanette was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Juvenal Zanette came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Milen Kúlvachev. But to his dismay, Milen Kúlvachev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juvenal Zanette was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andy Cole showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's attentive Hector Bazkoare managed to snatch the ball when Vygantas Vyšniauskas made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄昆傲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Cole got free with Juvenal Zanette in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Vander, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Juvenal Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Cole. After having played for 41 minutes, Andy Cole managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta Negra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Cole was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Cole in the 44th minute of play forced E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Juvenal Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. E.C. Galera's attentive Fahl Beckenbauer managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Moura made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Fahl Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Cole in the 58th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Carlos Fernando Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floresta Negra FC and the E.C. Galera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Harris Zoolingen replaced Milen Kúlvachev. Carlos Fernando Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute 狄昆傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egun Pais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 狄昆傲's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that 狄昆傲's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egun Pais was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Juvenal Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bazkoare in the 79th minute of play. Egun Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 狄昆傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. E.C. Galera's Juvenal Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Bazkoare in the 91st minute of play. The throw-in from Clemente Moura in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by E.C. Galera's Eugênio Hermes. Floresta Negra FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
