Andy Cole who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Adilson Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andy Cole might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. Andy Cole could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Adilson Moraes made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Cole got free with Adilson Moraes in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adilson Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Montenegro in the 24th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurgen Iwens's late challenge caught a Floresta Negra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurgen Iwens helped the player get up and apologised. LOBO 1908's Jonathan Britto was substituted for Paulão Bezerra. Jurgen Iwens hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Andy Cole took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adilson Moraes to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Adilson Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernani Montenegro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, LOBO 1908's Ernani Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egun Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! LOBO 1908 made a substitution. Prudencio Ixidor replaced Ernani Montenegro. Jurgen Iwens kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Floresta Negra FC made a substitution. Harris Zoolingen replaced Milen Kúlvachev. After a rather tough play, LOBO 1908's Jurgen Iwens got a free kick in the 61st minute. Adilson Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Lewandowski in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Adilson Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jardel Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Prudencio Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOBO 1908's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egun Pais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adilson Moraes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Jardel Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 77 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Lokon Pøhl came free, but Adilson Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lokon Pøhl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adilson Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner. Jardel Lewandowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Adilson Moraes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Jardel Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 94 minutes into the match, Jardel Lewandowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adilson Moraes. LOBO 1908's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Lewandowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
