Sidney Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Bezerra in the 3rd minute of the match. LOBO 1908's Adilson Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Burnett in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Adilson Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathaniel Burnett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LOBO 1908's Jonathan Britto was substituted for Paulão Bezerra. Marquinhos Sharkin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Adilson Moraes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Nathaniel Burnett sent off a good shot on target. Nathaniel Burnett might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adilson Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nathaniel Burnett ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Balbuena to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Ernani Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fabian Balbuena hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nathaniel Burnett was the one to do the kick off. Sidney Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Montenegro in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Nathaniel Burnett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathaniel Burnett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adilson Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LOBO 1908's Prudencio Ixidor was substituted for Ernani Montenegro. 69 minutes into the match, LOBO 1908's Prudencio Ixidor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Válbson Pimenta was substituted for Berenguer Anda. LOBO 1908's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeremias Tande in the 71st minute. Jeremias Tande made a great header on LOBO 1908's corner, it was just that Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 74th minute Válbson Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
