ADM Taquaras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xande Campbell ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Denílson Tepedino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ludomil Ziomkowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xande Campbell in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Emanuele Bertoni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno did a great save. After 44 minutes, Afonso da Cunha made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
