The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tao Jian Di hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Ezequiel Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobo Guará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 13th minute Ezequiel Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Lobo Guará were awarded a corner. Nando Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. 19 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Bezerra came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 22nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nando Barbosa during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Anaya having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezequiel Pereira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen Iwens, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. It was a well-played corner which Gernando Matos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when LOBO 1908 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agustín Rodríguez hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Roberto Domingues replaced Nando Barbosa. A collision led to LOBO 1908 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marquinhos Sharkin hit a great ball. Ciro de Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Adilson Moraes made a huge save. Adilson Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Lobo Guará left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LOBO 1908.
