Dércio Valentim kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the E.C. Galera defense, Mané Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Zanette. The E.C. Galera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Zanette should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Killian Cruzado in the 30th minute of play forced Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Guilherme Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Lara in the 32nd minute of the match. Mané Lara kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 37thth minute. Though ot was a great shot E.C. Galera's keeper Juvenal Zanette was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If Vygantas Vyšniauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juvenal Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mané Lara in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Killian Cruzado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Piotrek Rusin.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Lara made a kick off. In the 54th minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Bruninho Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Galera and the Joinville United - FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Furtado. In the 61st minute Mané Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Goiano. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. Maurício Donatello replaced Mané Lara. In the 63rd match minute, E.C. Galera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Fahl Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 80th minute. Maurício Donatello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Zanette. E.C. Galera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, 狄昆傲 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E.C. Galera's supporters crossed their fingers, but 狄昆傲 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Joinville United - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Khan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, E.C. Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Krzynowek came free, but Juvenal Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
