The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was a penalty for Lobo Guará! A collision led to Imbituba - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fabian Balbuena hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathaniel Burnett got free with Daniel Anaya in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Sidney Motta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathaniel Burnett made a kick off. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Sidney Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 66th minute of play. 2-3 became the score in the 67th minute when Ezequiel Pereira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Willian Caca-Rato. Daniel Anaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Fonseca in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Ciro de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Fabian Balbuena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ciro de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro de Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro de Moraes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Motta. Sidney Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Ciro de Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sidney Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lobo Guará walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
