Ciro Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes, Joinville City - FSCMZ's João Francisco Arce shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duda Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Joinville City - FSCMZ reached it. Duda Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Karsten Ulbak kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Marcus Allbäck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Duda Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Allbäck came free, but Duda Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Xantalen Titos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Haji Sarap to make any attempt to save it. Duda Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Santos in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Ciro Amaral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Adhemar Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Adhemar Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Duda Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adhemar Santos in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Veiga saved Compugraf from getting behind. 47 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Allbäck came free, but Duda Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Duda Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Allbäck in the 53rd minute. Xantalen Titos scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haji Sarap, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Compugraf's Li Xun Yuan was substituted for Guto Campidelis. Duda Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Santos in the 60th minute of the match. Duda Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Santos in the 64th minute. Karsten Ulbak hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. George Pogba replaced João Francisco Arce. The supporters of Compugraf booed when Joinville City - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Ulbak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, George Pogba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Duda Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duda Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Llorenc in the 89th minute of play. Haji Sarap came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Compugraf's Chico Freire. But to his dismay, Chico Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Geovanildo Luis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Duda Veiga made a huge save. Many of Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Joinville City - FSCMZ may have spent more time on the ball, but Compugraf were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
