When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Viktoras Mavrakis sped through Aston Birra F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luciano Sanchez-Garcia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Pinto got free with Timos Karagiorgos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Aston Birra F.C.'s Zeledon Pinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Giannis Kazatzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK Lamia club's supporters rose to their feet, but Giannis Kazatzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timos Karagiorgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Ted, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Aston Birra F.C. were awarded a corner. Yavuz Selimhan Sinan went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 57th minute, Aston Birra F.C.'s Hassan Châtelard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hassan Châtelard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aston Birra F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hassan Châtelard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Aston Birra F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Aston Birra F.C.:s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia showed great skill when he stopped Manolis Karaiskakis:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giannis Kazatzis got free with Luciano Sanchez-Garcia in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timos Karagiorgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Fenton, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Aston Birra F.C. made a substitution. Santiago Ascacíbar replaced Ciro Azofra. Aston Birra F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Anier Ted hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Zeledon Pinto made a precise shot to the right of Timos Karagiorgos. AEK Lamia club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. After having played for 83 minutes, Zeledon Pinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aston Birra F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Pinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orestis Malioufas hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Timos Karagiorgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Fenton in the 86th minute of the match. Santiago Ascacíbar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Timos Karagiorgos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timos Karagiorgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Pinto in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, AEK Lamia club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orestis Malioufas to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aston Birra F.C. had played much better football throughout.
