Sérgio Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 高阳延 having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Sture Vik. Flávio Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. 高阳延 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Misaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Misaki ran back to his position shaking his head. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Misaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Misaki in the 93rd minute of play forced Engenheiros da Vila's goalkeeper Eriberto Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Misaki in the 95th minute of play.
