The Mapovihesa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantin Potocianu should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Mapovihesa FC made a substitution. Raimundo Erramu replaced Álvaro Prata. Mapovihesa FC's Jerzy Wojno was substituted for Kent Saka. After a rather tough play, NAGANO F.C's Diego Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Niğdeli in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, NAGANO F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Wojno came free, but Vellito Alguerdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save NAGANO F.C from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Marcial Iratze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vellito Alguerdo. Marcial Iratze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Vellito Alguerdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Usain Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Mapovihesa FC were awarded a corner. Kálmán Pádár went to the cornerflag to take it. Usain Bolt made a great header on Mapovihesa FC's corner, it was just that NAGANO F.C's Vellito Alguerdo managed to reach the ball for a save.

The Mapovihesa FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mapovihesa FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
