Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Irigoyen to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apolo Irigoyen couldn't finish the play. Villa La Perla made a substitution. Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Irigoyen in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Jorge Vicente Squella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Bembe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teofan Bozadzhiyski kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Villa La Perla's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
